Abstract

research using a quasi-experimental one group pre post test method without control.

Research with a group design of subjects given no intervention comparison. This research was conducted at MTs An-Nur, Aek Korsik village in 2021, with a population of 72 students and a sample of 30 respondents. Sampling technique using quota sampling. Dysmenorrhea intensity data collection using numeric Rating Scale (NRS), statistical analysis of data using the Paired Sample T-Test The average level of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea intensity) or mean was obtained before being given boiled papaya leaves, it was 4.70. Then there was a decline in mean or average intensity of dysmenorrhea after being given papaya leaf decoction 3.20 and p-value 0.000 <0.05 (p = 0.000 <0.05). The conclusion is that there is The effectiveness of papaya leaf decoction in adolescent girls against dysmenorrhea during menstruation at MTs.
